Grounded in the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:36, the mission of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church Prison Ministry is to obey Christ’s call to “visit those in prison” by bringing the love, truth, and transforming power of the Gospel to incarcerated men and women. We are committed to sharing hope, discipleship, prayer, and practical support that leads to spiritual restoration, personal accountability, and renewed purpose through Jesus Christ.
Inspired by Matthew 25:36, the vision of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church Prison Ministry is to see lives behind bars transformed by the grace of God, hearts restored through Christ, and individuals prepared for successful reintegration into their families, churches, and communities. We envision prisons becoming places of spiritual awakening, where redemption replaces despair and the love of Christ breaks every chain.
