The promise of Christ's return gives believers hope, encourages holy living, and motivates us to love, support, and encourage one another as we await His coming.

  • VALUE personally the attitudes and actions Paul charged Timothy to embrace.
  • IDENTIFY our personal actions and attitudes that need to be changed.

Key Thought:
Followers of Christ are called to pursue godly character, stand firmly for the truth of God's Word, and avoid attitudes and behaviors that draw them away from faithful living.

Topic: Sharing a Legacy

Lesson Question: How Can We Share Our Faith with the Next Generation?

Focal Verses: 2 Timothy 1:1-14

By the end of this lesson, we will:

  • DISCOVER how our faith is often directly tied to or derived from our ancestors.
  • DESIRE to pass our faith on to the next generation.
  • DECIDE to share our Christian heritage with the next generation.

Key Thought:
Faith is a precious legacy that should be nurtured, lived out, and intentionally shared with future generations so that they may know, trust, and serve Christ.
